Quicktime to mpegs? Can Quicktime videos be converted to mpegs or avis? I want to make some screen caps so I can make some .gifs but Windows Movie Maker won't read Quicktime videos. Anyone got any info on this? |
Quicktime ... for mpeg2 you'd need the Quicktime mpeg2 codec. However, if you have quicktime player, there's other options. There's divx, 3ivx. I think there's probably heaps of converter utilities out there for windows for conversion purposes. But not all are free. Personally, I'd just add the video to ImageReady & it will usually read it ... depending on QT format. ie: drag & drop onto the program's icon. But that's for mac. Oh & there's some reasonable formats available for QT player if you install the 3rd party plug-ins & enable them thru the MIME settings. QT itself also has an MPeg4 format. Zygo is quite good. http://www.apple.com/quicktime/resou...omponents.html |
