Paypal payment for limewire

Yesterday I purchased limewire pro via paypal. I have received the paypal receipt verifying the purchase. When I enter my email address, it tells me that the email is not found. Any way I can get this sorted out?

Thanks

I'm sure it will be sorted, one way or another. i have the transaction number and I am sure that a record of the purchase is recorded somewhere.

hemi it can take up to 24 hrs (36 at worst) before your name is added to the database. What's more, you should be receiving an email from customer support with a link to your personal downld page which you should bookmark so you can access updates easily. So check your email in-box & junkmail boxes to see whether it has arrived yet.

magneton44, I'm beginning to think you are a troll: there have been a number of attempts to help you, including one by the business manager, but you've posted no response.

LOTR: I know it says it may take a few hours for the confirmation email to arrive, but all of mine have arrived within minutes after paying via paypal.

Do you know of anyone who got theirs hours after they paid?

Hemi--my confirmations from LW (sender customer@limewire.com ) had the link to the Pro download page. Can you check your junk filter in case it blocked such a sender?

Its still telling me that my email cannot be found. I did send an email to service@limewire.com explaining the situation. The only thing that I received was an automated email saying not to reply. The email contained various links to common problems that occur. These were of no help in my situation. Does anyone have an email address that I can email and a live person at the other end can actually take a few mins and take look. Better yet, a phone number would be ideal. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Troll... No, Sir!

No, not a troll just trying to find a resolution to a problem. Just read the post to me from Mfromel..tried to send confirmation e- mails to that address that I was asked to respond to and got the : cannot display page ...... I will keep trying... I don't live on the wisp of cyberspace...just checked mail today... my failure as you say, to respond to help is, is unfounded. All suggestions to help were acted upon or they were already attempted as identified in my two initial posts..Thank you for your lead to Mformel.... it is a begining to what I am sure will be resolved.

hemi -- find the posts by "mformel" [edit: see next page for how to search for a member name]

You should be able to send her a Private Message and get a response.

Sorry about the troll suspicion magnetron. I'll see if I can also contact someone to try getting this cleared up again.

magneton44 September 22nd, 2005 06:16 AM

Stief: You're absolved:)
I understand.....

From what I seen reported on the forum over the past 12 months ... yes. I'm only going upon what I've seen reported. My experience is different to yours because my sit is different. I wouldn't have made the comment otherwise. ;) OH & plus those who muffed up on the pay-pro page for one reason or another.

Well some time back one LW proggie said such issues have nothing to do with the forum, but I always feel concerned in any case. Sometimes they feel they have no where else to make the point if things aren't happening as fast as expected.

Thanks for the note KathW

Even now the the link gives me all mformel's posts, so I guess it's a cookie/cache problem. Does it work for anyone else?

hemi September 23rd, 2005 05:53 AM

Thanks to all who helped getting this sorted, especially to mformel for her assistance.

Thank you all

I paid for my upgrade over 48 hours ago and received my notice from paypal it was completed, still no email from LW and no replies to my emails sent to them asking what the problem is. I check my email everyday several times a day and I know I didn't miss it.Still no personal download page sent to me so I went into support and tried typing in my email address and it says I am not in the database yet.My email cannot be found. Why won't Limewire reps answer the customers emails I have sent emails to support@limewire.com and service@limewire.com and to customer@limewire.com and no replies at all not even automated ones.

find the posts by "mformel" http://www.gnutellaforums.com/searc...searchid=685061

Send her a PM and she will take care of it for you, she did for me.
