Bottom Line - How do I switch back to 4.9.29?

Well, I haven't posted here for a while, then I read at Zero-Paid all this stuff going on with the Limewire. I was reading the posts here and I just couldn't find out how to get back to Limewire 4.2.29, hence the new thread, sorry. I just upgraded 3 days ago, da__it, got it all set up again because I made the mistake of uninstalling Limewire 4.9.29.

I have an Optimize I got from PC Pitstop and they do have a system restore. I'm worried about trying it, I don't know how it will go? Can I download the previous version from a mirror and install over the 4.3.0?

I'm really confused!

I think I found my own answer

 I read on in the forums and what I think I found out is that there will be a newer version than 4.9.30 coming out. Sorry.

But hey, I saw that et Voila needs installers for 4.9.30. If someone could show me how to put it out there to share, I'll be more than happy to.

I'm sharing them on Gnet already, but I'll do magnet page here in time. I heard that 4.9.31 will be safe to use as well, we'll see.

The P2P newsites that state that .29 is the last good version are wrong.

Ciao

et voila, salut

This is getting more confusing by the minute. Your tone has changed since you last post on the subject, but I know you are letting us know the latest news. Please don't stop!

What's with my installer?

Please don't confuse the u2btrfly or she'll turn into a hlcptrbtrfly!!

I went into my "find" to find the installer for Limewire. When I opened up the installer, it was going to install 4.9.4! When I open up my Limewire to use myself, it goes into 4.9.30. Do I still have an installer for 4.9.30, where can I find it? The only thing I saw about 4.9.4 here is that it is beta. Is this perhaps the DRM version? I wanted to put my installer out there, but now I don't know how to.

Help, my wing's broken!

Don't worry about putting installers online, yet. We will make new installers available at www.frostwire.com when limewire starts filtering content.

So long, don't update LimeWire to anything beyond 4.9.30 and you're safe.

Thanks TJ4

You sure solved one problem for me and that's one thing off my mind.

I did, however, manage to find my installers for 4.9.30 and 4.9.29, so should I put them in my shares on Limewire? If so, how do I do it, just copy those installers into my share file? I sure don't want anyone to open one and find this Limewire 4.9.4 that I seem to have. When you or anyone can help me with this, I'd appreciate, but for now, it's ok.

Hey, thanks again!
Peace;)

Oops! I just went to the Frostwire.com site. Is this the site that will be filtered content, or will Limewire filter content on all versions, including 4.9.30, and we'll have to get the unfiltered at Frostwire.com? Sorry, I just don't understand.

Old LimeWire installers are shared automatically. Just search for "LimeWireWin"

Thanks TJ4

Thank so much for answering, much appreciated. Now I know what I'm doing with this for a change!

Thanks again.
Peace
