Why is it so slow??
 

Hey , I havnt posted here in a while and I just have one question : How come i'm only downloading at 5-10 kbps on a regular song on P2P on Limewire , its 10ks average, bearshare it changes alot, imesh goes at now even 1kbps!!!!! I have windows XP SP2, A d-link di-604 router so i can play my ps2 online, pentium 4 3.2 ghz, 512 mb of RAM, high speed cable internet which the provider, SourceCable claims: up to 6mb download. Is it my internet provider, people have told me that when you use cable, it goes slower if lots of people in the area have it, i dunno if thats true.
Downloading things off the internet goes fast and loading web pages comes in seconds. I have tried Bit Torrent and my files on there go at 4kbps. I know that its all about the person you download the file from but a single song takes 5 minutes or over, if i'm luck, 5 min, most of the time, it takes 10.


I have been trying to figure this out since LAST YEAR!
