The labels and id3 tags on different mp3s are different and many are not labelled using iTunes or something similar. So you have to make adjustments ... no way round it I'm afraid. My Limewire tunes go into an iTunes folder called Limewire automatically and I make any neccessary changes there. If you do not have this luxury which may be a mac only thing, I suggest you list ALL your songs by "date added" in iTunes and all your recent downloads will be at the top ( or bottom) Then you can, for instance, take the Beatle songs and select them all and change them in bulk to the same artist name for instance. If you also change their id3 tag to 2.3, you won't make others have the trouble you had (usually).

Nothing can be done in Limewire to alter them(not 100% true) but for the sake of this discussion true.
