![]() I subscribed to Limewire about a year ago for around $50. This was supposed to be a one time fee for a lifetime membership. Now I see the service is free. What exactly did my subscription fee go for? I was under the impression that it was to pay the copyright holders of the songs I downloaded a small royalty. Or was it just to buy into the system? I wish I could get upgraded to Pro now for my subscription. Anyone have the answer to this? |
