If you mean others can also log into the computer & want their own LW with individual downld folder, then that should work fine with a single installation of LW. If LW doesn't show up under Start menu>Programs for the other accounts, then make shortcuts for LW & put into those accounts.

The default saving location for LW downlds is here: C:\Documents and Settings\"your account name"\Shared

Thus everyone who logs into LW at different times will have their own save folder.

they do not show up in the other users not even in the start menu. could you do me the favor and show me step by step how you do it if you have time please

Im on a workgroup of three workstations with XP and I went through hell and back trying to enable sharing but it finally works.

However it never occured to me that everyone can share just one installation of LW between the three but I think that would just complicate things unless some workstations are unable to run LW.

Is that what you're asking?

Anyway how I have my PC setup is all my downloads are sent to my LW Downloads folder which is in Documents and Settings I think but am not sharing that folder with the workgroup nor LW. But I have a shortcut to it on my desktop for quick access to distribute the files accordingly. I need to stay organized or I panic.

I have a My Music, My Pictures, My Videosetc. folder on my secondary drive (If you only have one HD another good place for these folders is My Documents) which I enable share everything in them with workgroup and other LW users.

To enable sharing for a particular folder just highlight it and under the File and Folder Tasks window click Share this Folder.
