![]() Just a quick question, figured you guys would know this one. I figured that having the limewire download folder set to the same one that holds your itunes library would be the easiest way to not have to drag and drop or import files into itunes. I tried this by going to the limewire download file options and set the music download folder to the same as the itunes library. Yet, after downloading songs i noticed that they weren't appearing in my itunes library withing itunes. They were appearing in the folder, but only the newly downloaded files were appearing and not the ones allready in itunes. Any help on this one? |

![]() If you have not read this thread, particularly the posts by Lord Of The Rings, I recomend it. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...773#post129773 If you still are having problems let us know. I don't quite follow your post, but if you have iTunes set to automatically put files into folders by artist name, the files will dissapear from your iTunes file as such when they are added to the iTunes library and reappear in sub folders by artist name. opening the "get info" box will tell you where exactly any of your iTunes tunes is. |

![]() Thanks Hobo, I've read those, and that's not quite my issue...I understand how to drag/drop, create and import playlists, etc. Just wondering if in XP, there is a way to have the Itunes library automatically update with any files that you download from Limewire. I'm guessing no, or i would have seen it mentioned in that thread...... |

![]() This the question I am not sure about. In Mac there is the option to load tunes automatically into Itunes under Options/preferences>iTunes. There has been talk of putting this in the Windows version of Limewire, and I don't know if it has been done. |

![]() thanks hobo...actually i just realized if i import the shared folder for limewire into itunes, it will only import what allready isn't in itunes. Therefore, I'll just import the Shared folder every once in a while to update the music.I hadn't realized this; I thought you had to import the whole folder. Guess this is good enough for now. Thanks for your help! |
