somebody help plz how to erase search history

ive been searching like nuts but i just cant find the way.... how do i erase my search history (like when you search something that starts with an "f" like "funny" but then you want to search for "fart" but funny will appear! how do i erase those?)

options or preferences>View>Autocompletion>unckeck box>apply>ok
