Exclamation Who else thinks LimeWire should contact NVIDA?

Ok. I'm a liitle Poed at the fact that its always the latest driver from NVIDA that doesnt work with LimeWire. We shouldnt have to downgrade to a previous version driver to be able to use software! Who else thinks LIMEWIRE should get in contact with NVIDIA to correct this problem? And not just NVIDIA but RADEON too.

POLL: Do You think LimeWire needs to contact Nvidia and Radeon?

Default agreed

I haven't had much of a problem with radeon but nvidia.... definately. A lot of interface issues with the 84.21 version driver. Frankly I'm not about to downgrade my cpu because limewire and frostwire aren't fully compatible with the latest nvidia drivers.

AFAIK I think it's more of a Java issue & its interaction with these video cards.

Default nvidia contact lw?

That's a joke right? Nvidia contacting limewire. If they had to contact every company that had issues with their cards they'd be kept pretty busy. I think it's the designers responsibilty to recognize the issues and bugs at hand and take care of them themselves.

Default java

I've tried java versions 1.4.2 and 1.5 (the last 3 updates). I've read in other posts that people have fixed this "visual problem" by down grading their drivers. I think I'll just wait until limewire fixes the problem.

Did you try changing your graphic settings back to default or to application controlled or away from 3D?
Did you try changing skins? Did you try changing LW's compatibility mode to windows 2000 or NT? (Step 5 here Fixes for Limewire)
