What message are you getting exactly?

Which window are you seeing the message in?

What happens to the files?

Please confirm you are you are using Limewire and which version (4.9.xx fill in the x's)

I have not seen the word Aborted in Limewire but it is used in Phex.

Go to your download page for PRO and in the address bar add/beta. You can DL beta .35 which seems to be a leg up on most of the problems faced by past versions. Happy Downloading.:D

Ah ... as I said in the other thread, 4.9.37 proper release is now the latest, so I would give that a try. I agree with Deacon but he is two versions behind:):)

I still am intrigued when you say files were "aborted .. where did you see this and what exactly was the message? It is new to me.

yokay. tooth fairy showed up and left 2 new BETA's under my pillow. By the time you read this .38 will show up. Anywhoo, upgrade and see if you have any problems.

The "aborted" message is usually as a result of having received a corrupt file message & choosing "no" to continue downlding it & then selecting "Always use this answer" option. The way to undo it is to go to the LW menu bar, Tools>Options>View>Popups & tick the Revert to Default option & press apply.

It sounds to me you're downlding corrupt audio files. See T3 Spammers; mp3 Bit-Rates Versus File Sizes & also Downld/Upld Problems Sticky
