Lime Wire Problems
 

I hope I am doing this right.

I just downloaded Lime Wire on my moms computer. But my dad is getting really pissed off that every time he gets online it pops up and asks him to upgrade. Is there any way that we can get lime wire to pop up only when we click on it? I did go to options and under connections I opted not to automatically connect. but every time we go online it pops up anyway. PLEASE HELP if I don't get this resolved soon, I have to delete the program.

Yes, I have stopped mine from starting on start-up.

Goto options, go to the advanced tab, (very bottom) select system start up (very bottom again) and uncheck the box "Run on System start up". This way the program will not start until you double click on the limewire icon.

The option under conncections only affects conncecting to the network when LW is started. I believe it benefecial to leave this box checked.
