Is there any way i can speed a song up?

I am wanting to speed up the song Run It by Chris Brown so that it will be fast enough to make up a dance to for my cheer team. If you do now.. please tell me! It will be highly appreciated..thank you very much!

There are many ways; here is one:
I have WavePad loaded. I can open any sound file, click Control > Play Fast Speed, send the sound to another computer (or run another program like WavePad and let it record), record it and repeat until the speed is as high as I want. (I haven't done it, and can't just now.) It evidently works by taking out bits (compression) because the frequency doesn't rise (Donald Duck). Gotta go, but maybe this will help you get started. WordPad must be free. :)

I 'think' Audacity can also do it. Audacity is a free audio editor which can also import/export mp3's. On mine I can see a tempo filter under the effects menu but I'm not 100% certain this belongs to audacity or is a 3rd party one. In any case, you need to downld the program, plug-in fx, the manual & vst plug-in enabler separately. See http://audacity.sourceforge.net/windows.php
Change tempo is what you need. Change speed will effect the tone/pitch. Though there is also a pitch filter also.

WavePad v. 1.2 llicense: free

I hadn't tried the Effects. I tried them on Johnny Cash's Tennessee Flat Top Box. First try Simple Speed and Pitch Change, 150%, Preview, Cancel; then Constant Pitch and Speed Change, 150%, Preview, Stop, and try other speeds.
