limewire starts up on its own
 

just installed Limewire in Windows XP Pro, and although I haven't checked the option to start up when Windows starts, Limewire keeps starting by itself, and even after I shut it off completely, it restarts again

any suggestions?

sounds like its a bogus version or a fake. where did you get it from? and if its opening on its own then you better scan your system for viruses.

Did you just install it or have you installed it then downloaded a file around the size of 851.7kb if you downloaded any files around this size you have downloaded a virus.
