Default how do I protect some of my sound files?

since the limewire site took my money and won't acknowldege my existence, I'm relegated to this forum to get my problems solved.

here's one: is there a way for me to disable some sound files so they won't be raided from my iTunes library? how?

thanks!!

For your 1st point, how much did you pay? See Membership? - *WARNING * BEWARE* - Download p2p Clients ONLY Thru Official Sites

2. I'm not sure what you mean here. Are you asking how not to share your iTunes music library? Within LW's Library window, you can select the folder that has iTunes music & select the songs & right-click (contol-click for mac) & choose to stop sharing that file.

Smile limewire pro & protecting files

Thanks for replying. I paid $18.88, but never got a receipt and when I try to log in, the site doesn't recognize any of my e-mail addresses. Thanks for the instructions on making files unavailable for download. Appreciate it!
:-)

In the normal course of events, you might get a quicker reply on the forums than from Limewire.

Which doesn't answer your first question. I imagine you are using Limewire basic at the moment, or have you managed to install pro. You should have recieved two e-mails from Limewire, the first being your receipt. It sounds a stupid question, but are you sure you gave them a correct e-mail address. I have on occasions used my old, and deceased address and wondered why I never got a response!

It can take a day or two, apparently, for pro purchase to go through although I have to say that for me it happenned in minutes. How long ago did you pay?

Default didn't get upgraded to limewire pro

I paid a couple of weeks ago, it was $18.88. The money was sucked out of my account right away, but I haven't been acknowledged by the site. How do I contact them and get this straightened out?

Send mformel a pm (personal message).

You could also try these feedback@limewire.com & http://sales.limewire.com/support/? but if your name is not on their database your message might be ignored.
