Pro? worth it?
 

Hi all, I am just wondering if upgrading to Pro is worth it, from what I have read on the forums, it would seem not, I have only read negative comments! Can they really promise faster downloads? Better searches? I doubt it, but please prove me wrong.
Also a little fix for some peeps, I have noticed that emptying everything out of the incomplete folder that is not currently downloading improves the speed and behaiviour of limewire immensely. I empty mine everyday, it now works great.

Is there a means of reporting users that harbour viruses? i have downloaded numerous things that claim to a film or whatever only to find its a virus, obviously I block this user, however it would seem a better idea to report them or add them to a public info list! Just a thought.

I believe pro is worth it, in terms of search results, not in terms of speed. I have no test results to prove it and many people will dissagree with me and I'm not going to say they are wrong. The main things are that it gets rid of the reminder, AND it helps put some small amount of money into the development of Limewire.

There is not really any way of reporting Virus sharers, and it is possible that many are not sharing viruses knowingly. Really the only way to deal with the Virus problem is for all users to ensure their anti virus software is up to date and to not share virus infected files.
If someone is intentionally sharing viruses, you can block their ip number and next week they will be using another one.
