burning cd's
 

I hope I don't sound like to big an idiot. This is my first attempt at downloading music. All the music at Limewire says the type is MP3 and I don't have one. Every time I try to burn them to a CD it says device not found. The only ones it will let me burn say the type is wma. What am I doing wrong or do I just need to get an MP3. Thanks

It sounds like you're using WMP which is a playlist player. If you move/delete the files after adding to WMP's playlist, then it won't be able to find them. I'd recommend moving the files out of LW's downld folder into the system/your account 'Music' folder. Then add them to WMP's playlist.

Go to your LW Library window, select Saved Files folder & press the Explore button. Sample image here: Using Library Explore button to access downld folder (click on link) Then drag & drop or copy & paste to the music folder.
