Limewire to WMP?
 

How do you get something (music) downloaded from Limewire onto Windows Media Player?

how do you get anything else into WMP....you add the folders that the mp3s reside in into WMP's library...nothing actually resides in WMP, just the links to the locations of the files on your HDD

Sorry, I'm just a really big noob at this kind of stuff. How do I get to the folders?

1. Using windows media player

2. Default downld location for LW is C:\Documents and Settings\"your account name"\Shared but I'd tend to think it wiser to move the mp3 files to your system/user 'Music' folder BEFORE adding to WMP's playlist. Easy & quick way is: Go to your LW Library window, select Saved Files folder & press the Explore button. Sample image here: Using Library Explore button to access downld folder (click on link) & copy & paste or drag & drop into the location of your choice such as the Music folder. Then add them to wmp's playlist.

3. Remember that if you move or delete the files after adding to wmp's playlist then wmp won't find them. So the playlist won't work!
