You have committed the cardinal sin, you have gone and gotten yourself a virus, and a nasty one at that.

Now, as far as I remember, Nero does not come in a winzip format, which means you downloaded an unofficial copy from "who knows where" and installed a virus into your system.

I also guess that you are one of those people that doesn't run a virus scanner on your PC, not even one you can get for free.

The only thing you can do now is get yourself over to an online virus scanner, like Symantec, and try to get rid your infection. Then download a free virus scanner, like AVG, and a free firewall, Zone Alarm.

Later on, when things are back to normal, download SpyBot and Ad Aware SE, both good (free) anti-spyware apps. But remember, only get these items from the official sites.

All in all, you really do not have any excuses for not protecting your PC.
