Do you have to pay again to update!??

You pay a one time fee of $18.88USD to download LimeWire PRO and are ensured updates for 6 months. After that you can renew the update service for another 6 months for $14.5****. It is done in 6 month incruements. Any other figures dollarwise or time wise should alert you to a scam.

well when i open lime wire it says theres a new update,i havent had this for 6 months i dont believe but when i try to update it takes me to a page sayin i need to pay?

Right, 6 months. You need to pay your dues again.

You can always update to the latest basic for free, but this will delete the current pro version you have (which one is it by the way?... you can find out in About Limewire under help in windows.)

You may want to keep a copy of your old verison saved to disk or somewhere safe, or the installer if you have it, as you may decide you want to go back to it.

If you stay as you are you will have to live with the reminder I'm afraid, but you do not need to follow it's advise

or you can pay $18.88 for the latest pro which is not a lot for a fine product. It's up to you.
