I have been a subscriber to LimeWire Pro for several years and must say that I found the programme excellent. However it now appears that vast numbers of files on the site are infected and or corrupt. This is a disaster, particularly so for those who have failed to protect their systems with the appropiate safeguards, Anti Virus, Firewall etc. I like everyone else will have to live with the moranic and childish actions of those who upload such crap, though I suspect the said morans may have "corporate" allies.
What really gets to me is that it appears many of the users of this site having downloaded such files keep them in their shared folders so spreading the garbage like hell.

Yes that is a problem. It accentuates the problem. Often people don't check their downlds (which they also share) for some time after downlding.

But then keep in mind that these spams received in our searches tend to come from "mostly" a single connection type. T1 for spam usually, & T3 for corrupt audio. But always the same size for all types of spam or virii . (Until new ones show up.)

there is afcourse a way to go against this.

namely, try to build a trusted group of sharers with the same interest and if everybody sometimes get new stuff (recently released in legal surfaces) everybody in the group will profit from it and afcourse everybody else aswell, but if you have a trusted group you are certain it's not a virii etc.
