Do you have to share??
 

I've just downloaded LimeWire, and was just wondering...do you have to share files?
Theres an option under Tools, Options where you can chose not to share files, but it also says you have to share at least one file to not be a freeloader, what does this all mean?

You don't have to share files if you don't want to. But p2p sharing is all about sharing. So if nobody shared their files then there'd be nothing for anybody to downld. Some people get very emotional about the idea that some people might be freeloaders. But the decision is up to the user & their conscience. Sharing also helps people to get connected to other people, which is particularly helpful when searching for rare/harder to get files. BTW the freeloader slider has been inactive for some time.
