Pop ups - but no CPU usage

Hi everyone

I had the same problem as everyone else, in that Limewire kept on popping up.

I had a look at the problems on here, and advise was given about how the task manager, something should be running at nearly 100%.

There was nothing in my task manager that was running at 100%, bar the System Idle feature.

I've since uninstalled limewire - but the 'pop up' seems to start, but now I get a message saying:

One or more necessary files seems to be invaild. This is generally caused by a corrupt installation. Please try downloading and installing limewire again.

LimeWire version 4.9.33
Java version 1.5.0_05 from Sun Microsystems Inc.
Windows XP v. 5.1 on x86

Any ideas how I can get rid of this? Since I don't have anything 'unnormal' in my task manager. BUT - the Ctrl-Atl-Del function DOES seem to be disabled??

Cheers

See 1. LimeWire continually Popping up every few seconds & also Opening at System Startup, & also 2. LimeWire popping up - how to eradicate it, & this WARNING: Viruses on network you should be aware of! After sorting out these issues 1st, then you'll need to reinstall LW as it's most likely damaged. But only after sorting out the virus & damage.
