Is LW Pro legal?

ok i live in Wisconsin, yeah i know nothing but cheese loving drunks there, but thats beside the point this guy a couple cities over got sued 600,000 dollars for downloading and i was wondering is getting Pro LW legal or not because if it isnt then we all might be screwed. SO is this legal or not

no idea what the laws on it are..... maybe before you download you check out your state or federal laws

the program is legal, but what you downloading and uploading tend to be copyrighted materials. If you made that file, then it legal. but if you uploading or downloading a copyrighted materials, well... it really depends but RIAA/MPAA think it illegal because they think Copyright Act still apply on over p2p networking. So that make it illegal/legal.....
