Can't rename a file without losing it

Whenever I try to rename a file in my shared folder, I'm told that the file is being used elsewhere. Then the file deletes itself....I've lost a few songs this way. This only started happening when I upgraded to 4.9, I never had a problem renaming files before, is there a way to stop this from happening?

Thanks

That's because it's being uploaded at that time probably. I haven't heard of that happening before. Are you definite the file is being deleted. Go to your LW Library window, select Saved Files folder & press the Explore button. Sample image here: Using Library Explore button to access downld folder (click on link) & see if it's really in there or not. It may be disappearing from the LW Library window because you've renamed it, but LW hasn't updated it's data. You can also press the Refresh button to check. Once all the files turn black again, you'll know.

Thanks, looks like it did rename for me - I used to have to shut down LW before the file would be moved after renaming it, I wasn't expecting it to move that quickly.

Thanks for your help.
