I bought Lime wire Pro but it says i didn't but it is on my credit card how do i contact the company

The Pro package the scammers sell is not the same as the LimeWirePro version.

The email you received should have a contact address or phone number.

This may or may not help get your $$$ BACK!!! (music members) depending on how similar the site is. The question is whether you paid your money to the official site or not.

Sorry Bakitty that was scammers taking your money, you dont have to buy a file sharing program like Limewire/piratebay etc... alot of ppl have been though this. AND Lord of the Rings that picture cracks me up!!!! Where did you find it?

A family joke email actually. But I've since seen it on site for vid/smileys type of thing.
I edited it down to size after converting to gif format.

what company is on your cc card statement and did you pay the 18.88 us dollars for the Pro if no real company is listed then you've been had by a scammer. Because thats how much it costs if you got it at: www.limewire.com if not, you've been scammed/conned out of your money and paid for a fake Pro that probably wont even work on your system. i suggest you cancel that transaction if you can if its not from Limewire the official site.

and, if you have been scammed, I also suggest you change your cc number.

I bought a version of Limewire and the e-mail I received had the following information.

Is this right or was this from a scam site?

Does this mean that I should have Limewire Pro?...because the version I have is 4.9.37

Lw doesn't sell memberships, basic is free and Pro costs $18.88US and gets you 6 months free updates. Get it here: www.limewire.com

I would guess that the version you got was the Basic version and not Pro. You can check it, in LW go to Help>About Limewire(see a picture here:About Limewire) If it doesn't say Pro then you didn't get the pro version.

You should delete the version you have and get one from the official site. Also follow the links in the other posts about scams and getting your money back;).
