What do search files of same size mean?
 

I'm a newby to this and if someone can direct me to another post maybe. Cannot work out what to do when in the search panel there are heaps of found files that have same name and same file size, which are not very big so obviously not the full file.
What do you do with them? Can't find anything in Help about it unless it's something to do with Group Downloading.

If the files are less than 1000 kbs then they could be advertisements or possibly even a virus? I would recommend that you don't do anything with them. If you are looking for music then it is possible that a song introduction could be a small file. One song I know of has an introduction of 4 seconds so that would be an extremely small file. Anybody else got some advice? I am by no means a wiz at this stuff..... :o

Thanks...the files that come up are alays the same size. Look at Adobe Premiere Elements....they are all 851.7KB. That is obviously not the programme. I assuming they are parts of the programme, but how do you use them?

If you download and open one of those files you need to follow the instructions from the link below to get rid of the virus you download onto your computer. It should only take a couple of days to fix it. After you fix it you may want to read a few of the stickies they will help in your education of P2P networks.
