yes I may have thought you were all nerds, but, ahem, I need some very basic info, and throw myself at your feet.

I've downloaded files to watch using Limewire. What do I do with them now?

I assume they should play themselves on Windows Media Player or Real Player?

Just eating my own words. Tastes a bit like humble pie.

Hey nerd lol, download vlc media player you will find a link in one of the stickies it has all the codecs and plays everthing.....

or, you can go download the proper codecs that WILL work in Windows Media Player and you wont have to have another 3rd party player on your system.
