h.e.l.p.

the last time i downloaded a file from limewire, it downloaded okay as usual. but ever since then, everytime i open windows limewire pops up and asks pop-up questions. i always click no, and i exit of of limewire completely, but then a minute later, it'll pop-up again. so i exit out of it again, and a minute later it pops up AGAIN. i even deleted limewire completely from my computer, and when i downloaded it new again, the same thing happens. also, ever since limewire has been acting like that, my computer has started to become louder. my computer had always been silent and never made a humming noise, but now, as the limewire pop-ups processed again and again, my computer starts to making a humming sound louder and louder. has anyone heard about this happening, or know what might resolve this problem?

Sorry dude i really can't help you their except you could back up your files on a CD or CD's Or DVD or DVD's and perform a system restore that should fix the problem. It always fixes mine so yer you should do that or if all else fails remove any illagal software u have (If you have any) and take it to a computer repair guy.

@ manhead31
Sounds like you have a virus. I've never had it but a lot of others have. See this link(Part 4) WARNING: Viruses on network you should be aware of!

There are other threads in the forum on that topic, you just have to search for them. Remember to always scan your d/ls with a good av before you run them. Good luck.

PC getting louder

Manhead31

Your PC is getting louder because of wear and tear, such as your PC fan bearings, in fact all moving parts will suffer from wear which leads to more vibration, which gets loader as your PC gets older.

LW performs multiple HD accessing, both constant downloading and uploading, which may contribute to HD wear.
