Paid Twice
 

I know it sounds supid, but I subscribed to Limewire and then continued to look for other simalar products, so I week later I thought i had found a new one and paid again, it was only after the transaction had completed that I realised that I had infact paid twice for the exsact same software activation key.

There doesn't seem to be any way to make contact, as I wanted to suggest that i'll have the upgrade for free instead of a refund.

Any idears?

what I meant was that i have paid twice for the same thing, I couldn't remember if there was an activation key or not (obviously not in this case) is there anything I can do ?

What site did you get limewire from?

You probably got it from a scam site, how much did you pay?

I paid 30.37 GBP and the company is MovieSupport.Net
(that's what shows on the credit card statment

Yeah, you have been done by a scam site, limewire is free for basic and $18.88us for the pro and you can only get the geniune software from http://limewire.com
I would contact your cc company and tell them of this scam and try to get your money back that way.....
Also get rid of the limewire you have as it could be full of spyware and download the free LW from the link I gave you.....

At the top of this link Known Scam Sites you'll find a link where you can make an official complain against the scam site in question. I suspect you didn't look at my previous link. It's actually the same thread but a few pages further on. BTW is the site on the list at that link?
