I'm guessing you are using Limewire, or Bearshare is identical to Limewire in this respect.

The main part of the monitor window shows your uploads and the bit at the top shows the searches being made on the network. These appear as a never ending string of words which you can pause if you wish, but it is never possible to take in all the results. It is not important that you see it, and in certain peer/leaf set ups that your Limewire may be running in (this is set automatically by the network depending on conditions at the time) ... you will not be able to see search results atall. There is no problem and you have nothing to fix. The searches come into your computer whether you can see them or not.
