Is downloading this stuff legal?
 

I joined through imusic for the 30 whatever dollars lifetime fee and was under the impression all of this was legal. Now pretty much everything I look at it says it cannot find a license for and that I need to check local laws??? Can anyone tell me if this is all good? I don't need to be sued by a billion dollar record company, lol.

Sorry dude but thats a scam, I suggest you contact your cc card and cancel that out. You would only be sued if you were to download a thousand plus files and Limewire is free, you dont have to pay anyone to download from Gnutella and there IS no such thing as lifetime memberships, those type of websites are bogus.

It happens to a lot of new users. just cancel that out quick. dont pay for that transaction. call your cc company as soon as possible. seriously. keep after your cc billing and make sure that gets off your statement. Report it as fraud and get your money back and watch your statements closely and if funny charges come up you may have to get a new cc number.
