deleting files from library

How can I remove files from my library when I do, I get a message, 'can't delete this file is being used by another application.'
What other application can be using these files?
Using XP if thats any help!

Thanks

It will most likely be because someone is uploading the file. Close LW & then delete the file. Be very wary of deleting files thru the LW Library as it by-passes the Recycle bin!!!

Your thread has been moved the appropriate section. Please in future post your LW specific questions in the LW section of the forums which is where you entered the forum: Limewire Forum sections

Deleting

I was downloading a file and decided it was not useful so canceled. It is now red and stuck in incomplete. I cannot delete it or move to Recycle. Error message states it is being used by another application or being downloaded. I have disconnected from the web without help. I have attempted to delete from incomplete file also without result. I have virus scanned and Norton gives it a clean bill. I'm out of solutions. rd
