Default Please help me-im DESPARATE

I have windows and Im trying to burn a CD and get some songs onto my iPod. We have a folder in iTunes where all of our limewire songs automatically, and this works completely fine but you can't copy them into the Library or any of the playlists. Ive tried where you go to consolidate library, and I think you somehow have to convert the songs but there seems to be no way to do this. I've been trying to do this for a month, and they used copy, but it just hasnt been working and its getting really frustrating.

Ive tried absolutly everything, ive looked on all the threads, ive searched on google and tried all suggestions and nothing works. my brother knows almost everything about computers and he couldnt figure this out, so please, any suggestions would help. Im really desperate, so PLEASE im begging anyone for suggestions.

What I do is the following for burning: make a new folder call it "My Burns" Use the copy function and copy the songs into the new folder to be burned. make sure they are in all MP3 format and important that you 'data burn them.' and not MP3 burn them because if you then then you will lose all your IDE tag info on the music files. You will end up wth 2 copies of each song but after the burn, you can delete those files from the burn folder. are you storing your songs in LW shared folder? What I also do is make a additional 'my music' folder on my desktop. and move some of the songs from LW into the music folder.

Only A Hobo is a great assister to others; your light through the dark tunnel
Default The iTunes bit

If you see a heading in iTunes under Music Store saying something like Amy's LimeWire tunes, this is just a listing of what you are sharing. It is not a playlist.

This thread should help getting your tunes into iTunes ... any problems let us know

Default DESPERATE

You do not have to burn the songs to CD in order to get them into your iTunes library/iPod. You can copy the files into a "my burns" folder as directed by Spinx and then iTunes will allow you to add that folder to your library.
