movie won't play
 

I downloaded m*d*g*scar, it's an avi file. It plays sound but no video, what can I do. Thankyou

We don't want to know specific names of files you're downlding particularly if they are copyright files. Doing so might get the forum into trouble.

I'd recommend getting VLC - (click on link) _ (choose nearest mirror site) as this has in-built codecs & is generally very reliable. You can also change the skins on it if you'd prefer. To see what it can play see http://www.videolan.org/vlc/features.html

If you'd like to make it your default player see Setting Default video app however it'll probably ask you after you install it anyway.
