CODECs HELP!

Aright, i need some help guys. I read the sticky on this but i have no clue what to do at all. I'm not really a computer wiz, i dont know much about computers. So if anybody could please give me some info on this and walk me through it because im trying to download a movie called read the rulez you lamer I tried to download vlc but it didnt work. I aslo tried to download XivD but that did'nt work. So please if anybody has any information on this please help me.

When you dl save it then run it, VLC is what I would recommend

codecs

Try www.free-codecs.com d/l all in package option :)
