Eliminate Pop-ups

Hey Guys. Whenever i try and preview a video file while downloading, a series of annoying web sites pop up relating to the file. How do i stop this?

It seems that you have downloaded some spyware onto your PC that is now monitoring your internet activities.

I could suggest that you use the following:

Ad-Aware SE
Spybot
MS Anti-Spyware

These are all free and are very good, but if I am right you may have gone beyond the point where these apps can help you.

Anyway, I suggest that you download these apps, along with a free AntiVirus app, and run them, one at a time. If you still have the same problem then you will have no choice other than to reformat your hard disk.

PS. There are other apps out there that may help, e.g. Hi-Jack this, but they require skill and care to use while the above work safely and automatically.
