Limeware Pro I purchased Limeware Pro earlier this year but the website doesn't recognize my email address (I did use the correct one), so it won't let me download it. Any recommendations as to how I can correct this? |

http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=28751 I'm afraid you should take a look at the thead I have linked above. As I said Limewire pro is only oficially available under the terms I gave and fro www.limewire.com (Basic Limewire is free of charge) To benefiet from your "lifetime membership" You need to go back to the site who sold you this package, and unless I'm very much mistaken, you will get no response. I am imagining this is exactly what you have found. These sites are run by fraudsters for their own financial ends. |
Estphil Let me start of by saying that Hobo is completely right, you have been scammed because you went to a site run by fraudsters and con men. Secondly, and reading through your receipt, you said: Quote:
Scam sites make their money by preying on newbies, like yourself, making them believe they are dealing with a legitamate site and getting quite a lot for their money when in fact you are getting nothing (apart from some bogus applications). I am sorry that your experience of using the internet is "being ripped off" but if you follows Hobo's advice you should come out of this OK. UK Bob |
bob by the correct one estphil meant E-mail address ... not site. That threw me a bit as well:) I have not given much helpful advice on this one as it was a long time ago so the usual advice to get money back and so on can hardly be aplicable in this case.I'm afraid it must be put down to experience .... That's all........ |
Oh well. If this is the only and costliest mistake that I make, I'm doing well. Live & learn. Thanks guys. |
