I heard from a few people that Limewire has been cracked and many people are being sued? Is this true??

Im pretty good at reading between the lines, lets see are you asking if its ok to download the hacked/cracked version of Limewire Pro from P2P? No, its safer for you to get it at the official limewire website: because if you do use the hacked version, it may cause harm to your computer.

The only ones getting sued by the RIAA/MPAA are the greedy users who are abusing the Gnutella network by downloading & sharing over a thousand plus files. Limewire hasnt even sued the scam sites. so no, no one is getting sued by LW. ;)

When you say abusing the Gnutella network I am not quite sure what you mean. Maybe you can explain this point. As for using the words "greedy users", I don't think that is accurate. IMHO, a person who is greedy takes and never gives anything in return. So a person who is willing to share with others, once again IMHO, does not fit the definition of being greedy. Just my opinion. Yours is probably different.:)

Wording error I suspect. I don't think people who share over 1,000 files are being greedy. Matter of opinion I guess. If I shared over 1,000 photos of nature or holiday snaps, is that being greedy. lol :D
Perhaps it's in reference to people who simply downld music & lots of it to avoid ever buying music. From a personal point of view, most of what I downld is not available in music stores. The commercial music I'm most interested in I buy.

Dude, I was being sarcastic. The RIAA thinks so. lol. Hell, I wouldnt care if everyone shared over a million files, all the more power to ya. The less freeloader Gnutella has, the better, in my opinion. :D
