Default how do I get new version

Hi' All,
I have Limewire 4.8.1 and want to download the new version, on the interface it has update now? but nothing happens, so could someone kindly tell me should I uninstall the one I have now or just go to the download site and download the new version?

www.limewire.com is the official site to get the latest basic free version.

My advice, remove the old one from your add/remove if in windows and start clean. Just make sure you save any dls, move em to another folder on your HD, uninstall, delete the leftover Limewire folders and do a clean install.

If you have one, keep a backup of the older version. LW 4.8.1 was a good version.

agree, always cling to the old installs. even if you want the new version.
