I'm new so forgive me but...

First off let me say hello to everyone. As you can see I am new to this forum but I'm glad I found it. I am new to getting an MP3 player and was told that if I wanted an IPOD I could only get music from their website. Is that true? Or can I still use Limewire? I just recently purchased a Creative MP3 player that was a piece of crap so I want to get an IPOD as I read they are hands down the best. Again sorry if this is posted in the wrong section but I just wanted to check with the experts before I buy a MP3 I can't use Limewire with. Thanks- Newbie

Yeah, i think you read wrong. Ipods are not hands down the best at all. If i were you i would read a few reviews from a variety of different sources. As far as i've heard, ipods are often said to be faulty (people mainly have problems with the battery).

Well I had the MUvo FM and although the concept is very nice the product did not work as well. The first thing was it would just out of the blue turn off. Then, it said it held 120 songs..approximately, it actually held 60 songs. I read that the different files you download take up more space than others but man that seemed weird. I just bought the new Zen Micro and it is sitting here on my desk unopened. I figured I'd read about it first and I am glad I did. I read SEVERAL people complaints about the earphone jacks becoming loose and crackling. No thanks. I started reading aboutthe 4GB nano and the worst thing I saw about that was that it scratched easily. I don't know if someone can shed some light on the world of what MP3 player is a good one, I'd sure listen. Like I said I am pretty new to this whole MP3 stuff but for working out I just got tired of carrying that cd "suitcase" around and not being able to have a large selection of music.
