lack of porn results

i hope my question doesnt violate any forum rules. i often download porn off limewire [nothing sick or illegal] with great success, but lately 90% of my search results are bogus quicktime clips or file that are 104 mbs or smaller. even when i use broad keywords. is there a filter i besides the norm that i dont know about?

wondering why December 6th, 2005 10:40 AM

This makes for a change, usually its the other way around lol.:D

ukbobboy01 December 6th, 2005 12:17 PM

Marcmoon

You can only download what other P2P users are willing to share, just keep away from the small files, usually under 1 - 2 Megs, because they are likely contain viruses.

I had the same problem. There's plenty of porn on Limewire, but after a while, you've seen it all. And most of it isn't very good :[

Matt0401 December 7th, 2005 04:42 PM

Ugh, believe me there is a lot of porn on Limewire you don't know about. A friend of mine told me about some keywords that police forces were using to search for illegal stuff. Hint: try ***censored***. You'll be dusgusted at what you see. :|

wondering why December 7th, 2005 04:43 PM

Yuk lol

wondering why December 7th, 2005 05:07 PM

Hobo did you go and look at that, you shock me lol:D :D :D

wondering why December 7th, 2005 05:14 PM

Ahh Hobo, but I didn't look I was replying to Jay and his animal comment.... your busted lol :D :D :D

Matt0401 December 7th, 2005 05:16 PM

Well, I'm a curious person, so I downloaded one to watch it. It was indeed real. Lol, I totally regret it. Yes, the police definetely need to get to work on it! They're going to give Gnutella a bad name!

Thing is, as much as we hate to admit it, they have the right to use our network. Although it IS the right of Limewire LLC. to restrict access to people with those files. They should put a message on the site telling people they don't allow it. It IS their program. Then they would have legal authority to remove the content.

wondering why December 7th, 2005 05:18 PM

Now Im intrigued about whats in the files......:p

Matt0401 December 7th, 2005 05:22 PM

Take it from me, if your against child porn (which isn't always child "abuse") don't watch them...

EDIT: I also recommend you add that keyword to your filter to help you stay clearer of that stuff. ***censored*** and ***censored*** are common ones according to what the guy told me.

wondering why December 7th, 2005 05:27 PM

Ok Im no longer intrigued it sounds illegal, what do you mean by not abuse????

Matt0401 December 7th, 2005 05:35 PM

Ya I totally agree with you about how they should not be allowed to share this stuff on the network, but I'm Canadian, and sadly, our laws and the charter of rights and freedoms (kinda like your 5 amendmants or something) does not allow any form of not allowing certain groups (including pedos) access to free services. It considers it descrimination. UNLESS that individual company is in another country (like the US, which limewire is in), then they can make their own rules. Doesn't LimeWire have a right to restrict access to people who abuse their network? :S

Also, don't worry about me getting caught with that one file. I deleted it right away and have reformatted my computer since, quite a few times actually.

wondering why December 7th, 2005 05:36 PM

If they know of this stuff Hobo why dont they report it, are these sickos untraceable or something....:(

wondering why December 7th, 2005 05:45 PM

I think Im over and out on this thread now its making me feel sick.

:( :(

Matt0401 December 7th, 2005 06:44 PM

Someone asked when is child porn not child abuse? Well, the reason I brought that up is because of an article about freedom of speech I saw a while ago. A few boys decided to make their own porn movie. It involved them as the camera crew (so there were no adults present). The FBI investigated the bandwidth used by them for these porn movies which they distributed over a p2p network for their "audience" as they called them, and their parents got in a **** load of trouble! It brought the issue of concentual filming of pornography into perspective. What if the kids want to make their own films, and they aren't even being touched by adults? The disturbing part about this is... where did they get the idea for their movies? :S

jay173 December 7th, 2005 09:51 PM

since when was a little porn illegal?

Lord of the Rings December 7th, 2005 10:37 PM

IMO Porn is a tough topic. Different countries, communities, cultures, even ISP's have different points of view & laws/regulations about it. Some ISP's stipulate in their conditions of use that porn is not allowed to be downlded (I've noticed that in some state's of USA which may or may not be related to local laws.) In some countries, it's legal to marry someone as young as 12 (I don't know about younger than that.)

But as for child porn, they are not considered to be fully mature, educated in all manners of speaking including morals/principles, etc. (They generally take their lead from adults.) But the question is who is sharing this material. Are they adults or children?!
AFAIK most western countries have in recent years been info sharing & have agreed cooperation in regards to hunting down pedophiles.

Limewire does not own or control the gnutella network. There's lots of gnutella client programs. Just look thru the forum sections for an example of some of these.

The original poster was inquiring about downlding porn & that it's become more difficult to find. It may have something to do with .wmv being filtered out. lol :D There's certainly lots of porn out there. And many a porn cd/dvd ripped to share just as other videos are. Yes there's lots of rubbish out there for the smaller files. Some are excerpts, some amatuer efforts, some or many are adverts from porn sites. Quality of Content on the Network (click on link) And no, I'm not a major porn downlder lol :D But I have checked some material out.

Perhaps the original poster should apply some search terms similar to those who look for music albums to downld. Such terms as whole, complete, uncensored, AV, VCD, etc.

ukbobboy01 December 7th, 2005 10:54 PM

Jay

Before this thread degenerates into emotional acrimony I would just like to make a few points.

Pornography in most western countries is not illegal, there are issues that might make it illegal such as "age of consent", actual consent", "consenting adults", etc. So, basically if a group of adults get together and decide to make a porno film, sell and/or give away copies to other like-minded adults then that is perfectly legal.

Filmed child abuse cannot be legal because there can be no consent, each country has it's own laws saying when a person can give sexual consent so any filming of a young person/child below a certain age is illegal.

To Matt's point, when a bunch of minors decided to make porno films the FBI quite rightly put a stop to it because these boys, and I presume girls as well, were below the age of consent and so could not legally agree to take part in such films.

Finally, there will always be people, parasites, criminals, etc. that will take advantage of the freedoms the rest of us enjoy. What worries me is that some of us, the more naive among us, may over react and ask the authorities to step in a regulate things. But instead of going after miscreants the authorities are more than likely to keep a watchful eye on us, all in the name of security of course:mad:.

K. As much as we'd like to stop it, the most we can do is ignore it and not give the pedos the satisfaction of spreading this stuff.

stief December 8th, 2005 05:39 PM

hey folks--can the posters remove all references to those search terms?

Otherwise this thread is in danger of become a resource for would-be pedos.

I scanned my posts and censored those terms. Also, I noticed this comment by ukboboy01 which I missed. Just to let you know, the article had no mention of any females involved in this film. :P lol

Then, you're obviously not searching hard enough, if you type in the right keywords in the search, believe me, you will find plenty of porn. Which, for the most part is made by amatures and not professionals lol. Its good for a laugh or two but, when you've seen one badly done porn, you've seen them all.

If I wanted to just find amature porn, and nothing else...what word would I type in the search box and would I have to use quotations marks?
Thanks

wondering why January 20th, 2006 12:58 AM

Use your imagination, Im sure you would know plenty of words that would be associated with porn, it would be trial and error...
I dont think anyone on this forum would give you any specifics on what you should use and vulgar language is not permitted, its against forum rules....

Lord of the Rings January 20th, 2006 03:37 AM

Actually there is a link where you can find the terms. But I prolly shouldn't point out where to find it. The purpose of the link was the opposite. :D

My intent was and is not to use vulgar language and I cetaninly did not intend to break forum rules.
I am a webmaster and own/moderate my site and I understand completely of which you are speaking.
I just asked a simple question regarding navagation.

I am confused here.
Since there is a link where one could find specific terms, and it's purpose is the opposite....what is the reason for have the link, except for looking up specific terms?

To stop it showing up in search results. ;)

I love this thread. Porn users that dont know how to search by key words???? Kidding? I think all that porn is turning your little minds into mush. and dont think for one minute Im gonna help or give anyone here hints on how to do a key search on porn.

Learn some P2P skills and you will quickly see just how much Gnutella is flooded with all the adult porn your little minds can view. I can give a few hints but Im not gonna. Pay me 50 bucks for each keyword then maybe Id consider it.

 :p

I didn't mean that you were going to use vulgar language on here...I meant that if anyone was to give you a keyword such as bl**j*b it would be vulgar language......Surely your imagination can think of such words to type in the search box...Why do you need help with that ????? :D

I may be a newbie here but, I own and moderate my own site which has a forum very similiar to this.
My site is a gambling site and newbies that come to my site are helped and are relieved of any struggle
We don't enjoy "watching newbies struggle".
