New to this re; downloading movie and recieving completely different one???
 

I joined recently and went pro to make downloads faster, I recently downloaded a film I wanted which took a while as i kept losing my connection!!! However when complete I relaxed and played and it was a completely different film, is this a common occurance, is it a wind up, and is there anyway knowing you are getting what is stated??? (can you preview what your downloading after say 10% has been recieved) anyone who can advise on this thanks

You can certainly preview what ever amount of film you have downloaded.
Also you can right click on any file in the search window,> advanced > look up file with Bitzi This will open your browser and take you to a page giving known information on the file. Many people will not download a large file without seeing a positive Bitzi report.

I'm afraid this happens on p2p and it is annoying and who knows exactly why it happens.. a mistake, a wind up or attempted sabotage of the network, made worse by the fact that someone will re share a file before watching it and so the whole thing snowballs.
