Limewire GUI problem.
 

Ok first ill give you a low down on my setup,
MOBO-ASUS A8N-PREMIUM
CPU-AMDX2 4400
RAM-2GB CORSAIR XMS2
HD'S-3 74GIG WD RAPTORS
VIDEOCARDS-2 BFG 7800GTX'S

i have the latest nvidia drivers 81.94, i have the lastest java udates, and i get this weird GUI shear across the whole limewire window. So i tryed updating everything, didnt fix my problem, reinstalled windows, that didnt fix the problem, and help would be greatfull.

ps also a dell 24-inch widescreen monitor but i dont think thats the problem

Are you using a different skin to the default skin? If yes, try changing the skin back to default to see if it still happens. If no, it may be an issue with that particular skin.

Also see The way to fix the Blank screen on startup This may or may not solve your issue. But there's different options there. So look at each similar problem & how it was solved. Check each link.

Also try changing your monitor resolution (if it's safe to) & see if it still happens.

I know this message is from the past - but i'm thinking it has to do with his widescreen monitor..
I get the same thing trying to load up on my dell 21 inch widescreen - 1680-1050 res...
as soon as I switch it to 1024X768, I can load limewire no prob..

That's interesting because monitor size was an issue with a version of LW over 12 months ago (about 15 months ago.) Also check these links: GeoForce 3D setting

Sometimes the best way to control it is to set the graphic card settings to program controlled. click LW icon & it begins to initialize but then stops and nothing happens
