I like Limewire, I really do.
It's simple to use and I get to see films that I wouldn't normally go out and buy, not to mention the back up copies of software.
But here's the thing. ...........
When I enter a search word and get dozens of "hits" for it, i tend to download from the line with the most Stars and the highest number on the left, hoping that will be a speedier download.
I have just downloaded one such file with 4 stars and 63 donors.
It had a virus in the file!!
Surely the people KNEW the virus was there so why offer it as a file for download?
Why not just delete the file once they found the virus instead of passing it on to other users?

Yes most of them do and then you get the dumb ones who just dont care, watch the file sizes and be really careful of the programs as many of them do carry a virus.....

if you're d-l a song & L W tells you it found corruption do you want to continue? how do you let someone know it's a bad song??obviously chat's not the best option. one in particular "joss Stone" "relax".
