Corruption... Bugs@limewire.com fake email?
 

I keep getting the corruption message, even after i downloaded and installed limewire, then deleted it. I sent the message to Bugs@limewire.com but i got the "deliver failed" from postmaster. I sent it at least 5 times with the same result every time. So i tried bugs@limewire.net. It got delayed, but it sent. BUT THE CORRUPTION MESSAGE STILL APPEARS! Can someone help me out here?

I have to go, but ill be back in 2 hours.

the bugserver at http://bugreports.limewire.com/bugs/home.jsp has been down quite a bit recently, and you don't get a personal reply from it when a bug report is accepted.

Re the corruption--try using the latest version of LimeWire from www.limewire.com to avoid one of the modified versions that are out there. However, I suspect you already tried that and need to look at the stickies to remove all traces of LW and clean up any chance you got a virus.

Sounds like you should also clear all your old downloads quit LimeWire, and delete the Incomplete Folder to start fresh.

Alright, thanks. I deleted all the files i had in limewire, except for a couple folders that i cant delete from there, and checked for viruses. Ok, ill just wait a while and see if the thing stops popping up.
