missing codecs
 

After down loading lost season 2.I try to play file using windows media player but i am always missing a codec file so get no picture but sound any on help me out here please.

Your easiest way will be to use the VLC player. This has all the codecs built in. http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

BTW In future please refrain from telling the forum the names of things you are downloading

Let us know if this works for you. I hope I'm right in thinking it will play windows files, but .avi is a preferable file type to play, and it will play that certainly.

come on john, I'm trying to help you out here .. and I see your taking pot shots at Limewire. Please check out my signature and follow my suggestions to check out the forum stickies. Theres stuff on Viruses. Only obtaining p2p applications from official sourses, and so on. I gather you've paid too much for Limewire [pro]?
Basic is free and pro costs about £11or 12.00
