Hi, I registered to Limewire earlier this year but unfort got my laptop stolen .... now have a new one and was wondering can get limewire up and running again, ive lost all my login details as well you see ... help me please!!

LW Basic is free. LW pro offers 6 mths of free updates but it sounds like your 6 mths is up. Get it here http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml

I downloaded the program last night and started using it, but im sure i paid £60 to be able to download for the next two years ....

Sorry to tell you but it sounds like you've been scammed. As LOTR said, you only pay for the pro version & that covers you for 6 months - there's no 2 year deal.

Have a read of the sticky above (in red) about membership. It might be too late to get your money back (how long ago did you pay?) but the sticky gives you links for complaints.

Hi, i paid about 4months ago. I registered and everytime i opened limewire it would say in the bottom left hand corner : Logged on as .... and then my user name

Wow that's a lot of money. It should only have cost you about £10.6 for Pro. And I'm sure you'd find you only have LW Basic, not LW Pro. To check, Shows About LW Pro (click on link)
