If you have Windows XP you should be able to open your shared folder, click on a song and it should automatically upload to the player of your choice or, you can do what I do and move the songs to a new folder on your drive and name it 'my music' and copy/paste some songs into the folder for easy listening. Hope this helps?

After the files are downloaded, where do they go? I cant find them under 'shared files' anywhere. I have figured out how to put them in my player but cant figure out where they are at after they are downloaded.

In LW Library, hi-lite the folder you want, then click the explore button(underneath the folders window). The folder will then open outside of LW. For a pic go here: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...994#post161994

The default location is C:\Documents and Settings\"your account name"\Shared.

I find it easier to seperate and move the files out of the LW folder because if you are on the Gnutella network and you try to view the files, you might experience skips & pops because you're active.

If you have videos, you will also need to download the codecs to go with WMP or, whatever player you use on your desktop.

and since he inquiring about exporting I am assuming he means move the files out of LW.
