256 BitRate
 

Will a 256 bitrate give me better quality sound than a 128.
Also, how can an upload have such a high rate.

Yes, a bitrate of 256 will be better quality than 128.

Bitrate means how many bits (8 bits = 1 byte) are taken up per second of music. The more a song's compressed, the lower the bitrate and the lower the quality. 128 is roughly CD quality.
